The Friends Bookshop is a favorite stop for book lovers looking for great reads at great prices. Operated by volunteers, the shop features a constantly changing selection of gently used books and media for readers of all ages.

Our shelves are regularly refreshed with curated and cleaned donated items, so whether you’re looking for your next great read or a hidden treasure, the Friends Bookshop offers something for everyone.

The Display Case

Featured Treasures: Rare and Remarkable Finds

Be sure to visit our glass display case, where we showcase a rotating selection of rare, unusual, and collectible books. Here you may discover signed editions, first editions, beautifully illustrated volumes, and unique titles from special collections that occasionally find their way into the Friends Bookshop.

Because these items are often one-of-a-kind, they are displayed separately so visitors can take a closer look and appreciate the stories behind them.

If something catches your eye, a volunteer will be happy to assist you. You never know what literary treasure might be waiting in the case. Past sale items have included DC Comic Adventures of Superboy and Justice Society of America, a boxed set of K. Otomo’s Akiro manga, a first edition of Steven King’s Dark Tower, and a leather bound Easton press edition of Dostoevsky’s Crime and Punishment.
